second home.
The following photographs are the embodiment of the past 22 years I’ve spent traveling to Chicago. My dad spent his formative years there, and in a way, I did too.
The following photographs are telling for me. Individually, they don’t mean much and are quite unmoving. But together, within the context of my life, they tell a different story.
One of fondness, nostalgia, and ardour.
An ode to my second home.
The following photographs are ambiguous. This trip is both one of many and one of a kind, all at the same time.
special thanks to: gma dian, uncle sabin and friends, uncles quincy & nando, aunt sandra, joan, amanda gentry, the garfield park conservatory and all the hands that prepared all the wonderful food i indulged in.
